Due to the death of Suzanne D. Schurman, the following will be sold at the farm home located in the Hale/Bedford area. (From Chillicothe, go south on Highway 65 for 11 miles to the Avalon Junction, then east on Blacktop “H” through Avalon to the Bedford Junction, then south and east on Blacktop “H” to the first gravel road south (Road 373) for 2 miles, then east 3-quarter mile.) A very interesting, mostly antique auction, with many items well over 100 years old. Mrs. Schurman’s grandfather was a former U.S. ambassador to China around the year 1900 and several of the auction items came from overseas, plus many years of collecting in the U.S.
