HISTORY

Learning the ropes... (27769 bytes) Born in 1956, Mike began learning the ropes from his father, Colonel Joe Miller, who auctioneered for over 40 years. Mike is pictured at far left (in cowboy hat) in 1975 where he assisted his father (center, white hat with brown brim) with one of his early auctions.

Mike attended four years of college at Northeast Missouri State University (now, Truman University), Kirksville, Missouri. Mike graduated from Reisch Auction School in Mason City, Iowa, in 1976. He began auctioneering in 1974 and has continued ever since.

Mike is a member of the National Auctioneers Association and the Missouri Professional Auctioneers Association.

Mike is a father of four (almost grown) great kids!

CHARITY WORK AND COMMUNITY SERVICE...

Over the years, Mike and his team have helped deserving charities raise at least $1 million in fundraising efforts. Some of these benefit auctions include these, among others:

  • North Central Missouri Wild Turkey Federation
  • Quail Unlimited
  • FEC Area Youth Benefit Fund
